Gertrude Garcia Obituary

Gertrude "Trudy" (Espinor) Garcia
1930-2021
Trudy left her loved ones in the early hours of a cold morning on October 28th to enter the kingdom of heaven. She was a unique individual. Trudy was an artist, who worked in various mediums, mainly oil paintings. In addition she was an excellent story-teller, with a boundless imagination. In her teenage years, she designed and made her own clothes, as well as her younger sister's clothes, eventually becoming an accomplished seamstress. Later in life, she became a manicurist/barber in her husband's shop. Trudy was artistic in all of her endeavors. She is gone but not forgotten for she will live on in our memories.
She is survived by her sister: Katie Rojas Wood, daughters: Estella Garcia Bologna, Ellen Marie Garcia, son-in-law: John Bologna, son: Michael Garcia, many grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of many years Hector Homer Garcia, Mother Herminia Garza Rojas, son: Frank Thomas Garcia, brothers: Alphonso, Richard, Raul Espinor, and sisters: Otilia Rojas and Virginia Cabello.
