Jacobs, Gertrude "Gert" Age 92, of New Hope, long time resident of Motley, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007. She was a longtime parishioner of the Church of St. Michael. Preceded in death by husband, Phil; daughter, Kathryn; two grandchildren; brothers, Art and Jim; sisters, Marion and LuElla. Survived by sons, Paul (Elaine), Jack (Jo), and Steve (Sue); son-in-law, Walter Hanson; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn "Ep" Alden; plus many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 1 PM Friday at Church of the Holy Family, 5900 W. Lake St, St. Louis Park, with interment 11 AM Saturday in Motley, MN. Visitation Thursday (TONIGHT) 5 to 8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, Wooddale @ Excelsior Ave., St. Louis Park, and again one hour prior to Mass at church Friday. Gert was a lovely lady. I just remembered she was my girl scout leader when I was a kid. We had many fun times. She welcomed us girls to her home. I'll miss seeing her on Memorial Day in Motley. Our Sympathy to the family. May God bless you in this time of loss.
