Gertrude Kornfein

Gertrude (Trudy) Kornfein was a warm and caring person who was a personal friend and a dedicated advocate for families of people living with mental Illness. We served on the NAMI NYS Board together and on the NAMI Rockland Board. She did so much to help others, was a proponent of education about mental illness in schools and colleges, worked to introduce and gain support for important legislation, and much more.
