Dear Deborah:
Gertrude was ONE special lady. How fortunate you were to know and love her. I recall her telling me of her early days with her large family in Ansonia. She was a member of the AHS Class of 1917 (which included future NYC Mayor Vincent Impelliteri). What an
incredibly full life she lived!
I will miss her Christmas greeting and her wealth of richly detailed stories from days gone by. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I know how close you were you her.
Sincerely
Tom Clifford
