Aunt Gert always had a quiet and gentle spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight,(1 Peter 3:4). She was such an example of a faithful, godly woman. I enjoyed visiting her each summer. Aunt Gert was a fixture at the family reunions that I was able to attend.I dearly enjoyed back a few years ago when Dad and I stopped and visited and talked about some of the family history.I have very fond memories of Brookfield and helping hay at Uncle George and Aunt Gerts.My condolences to the family. I'm so glad she was a part of my life. I have so many fond memories from the activities of the early North Brookfield Fire Department where George was a member to later years when Becky and I spent endless hours in that house, playing with Barbie dolls. You were such an inspiration to so many throughout your long life with us on this earth and brought such joy and love everywhere you went to those around you. aunt Gert was a very special aunt to me. She was an inspiration to me. She was always helping me with crafts and when I was younger she would invite us for dinner.
