Gert was a part of my life since I was born... we stayed in touch even after I moved to California. She was the only person (besides my dad) that could call me by my childhood nickname. RIP Dear Gert. you will be missed! Oor love to Joe, Jerry, Lee and the family.

I remember Gert from my first days at the Military Circle store... she flash that smile of hers, taking a nervous edge off of a skinny, bewildered kid. She was a true inspiration for all whose lives she touched. Forty-plus years later, I still think of her.
