Dear Sherbert family, I want to send my deepest condolences of the passing of your mother. I just found out today Monday evening of her passing. Otherwise I would have liked to pay my respects to the family in person. I missed it, so sorry. Your mother was a wonderful woman and an amazing person. My mother Doris loved your mom so much and enjoyed spending time with her as neighbors for so many years. She kept my mother going for the last years of her dementia. I remember Christmas Day was always at Aunt Gert and Uncle Norms house in Redford. When I was a kid ( and when I was older too) I remember she made the most amazing Meringue peppermint cookies. I would always go upstairs when everyone else was downstairs and eat as many as I could.
I will always remember all the family gatherings in Grayling. There were always so many family members up there. I remember playing Skip-bo with her and Norm. So many memories.....
