Brooklawn Funeral Home - Rocky Hill Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the death of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all, Frank, on September 24th. He immigrated from Lanciano, Italy when he was 18, knowing only one phrase in English - Coca-Cola. He went on from there to master the English language & he used it to express his love for us every day. Frank was happiest when he was working, watching NASCAR, vacationing in Maine and eating Italian food, surrounded by his family.
He leaves the love of his life, his wife, Janet. His beloved children Frankie & Elizabeth, special sister & brother in law Connie and Joe DiStefano, treasured grandson Anthony, his dear Zia Lina and Zio Americo, his siblings in Italy- Beniamino and Rita, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, the Love family, The Leonards and friends galore. To the family and friends who traveled from all over CT, NY and NJ to visit Frank, know that he loved you. As hard as it was to say good-bye, we know he is free of pain and reunited with his mother and father, Anna and Tomas. Arrangements are being handled by Brooklawn Funeral home. Per Frank's wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 8, 2017 between 1-5pm at the The Club House at Raintree Condominiums on the corner of West Street and Gilbert Ave in Rocky Hill. To the Bevilacqua and Love families, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Frank. I'll be honest, when I was a youngster he sorta scared me a bit. As I grew to know him I realized that he was just a big teddy bear with a big heart . Keep his memories alive and know he is always with you. Love you Frank and Rest In Peace honey Merri Starr Moore
