Not sure what to say?

Whenever I think of Gil I do smile. Just as I am while writing this. He was a truly special man. He was a life enhancer, and the greatest of friends.

I just learned of Mr. Shiva´s passing. I met him very briefly to talk about a scholarship. He was very kind and I am sure he is remembered fondly. My hugs to the family.

Gil will always hold a special place in my heart and in the hearts of so many others. A remarkable human being who gave so much of himself to his friends.

Dearest Alexandria, Your father was remembered in 1968 by Rita Gam (the actress I understudied in "The Girl in My Soup" on Broadway). She believed the best adjective to describe him was "Charming." What a lovely thought. Much love, Kay Peters

Alex and Andrew, It was a privilege and honor to work with your father, Gil. The term 'True Gentleman' aptly describes your dad however it was his kindness I will always remember. We shared many lovely evenings working together in the library and he never wavered in his desire to learn and grow. RIP, Gil. Dan

My warmest condolences to Mr. Shiva's family. I met him thanks to Sara and Michael Sela and we all shared wonderful moments together. I and my husband are so sad about his passing. Valentina and Hayk from Zurich, Switzerland

My Condolences to Andrew, Alexandra And Family. I learned a lot from Mr. SHIVA ALREADY MISSED. Ramses
