Dear Alcala cousins,
My heart goes out to you for I too know how it feels to lose both parents; please accept my condolences.
It has been far too many years and still remember house parties hosted by your parents. All the Alcala siblings and kids would be over for a bbq and we'd watch your latest vacation movies; fond memories.
With time, the pain you are feeling will ease a bit and you'll once again smile when you remember something your dad said or did or, you're all sitting around reminiscing and suddenly you start laughing...you'll have begun the road to acceptance and will all be okay.
He is now with lots of family (my mom, Chelo, included) and they, along w/Frances, will all keep an eye on you from up above.
Many hugs from a long lost cousin...Rachel Yanez

To The Alcala Family,
My condolences to you all, Mr. Alcala was my Dad's Barber for many years, until he passed, and my friendship with Virginia is always so dear to my heart. I miss her wonderful smile. I know she and your Mom were there to welcome Mr. Alcala when he arrived to meet his heavenly father as well. Your Mom was also such a beautiful and loving lady, I also remember her fondly. May they all be rejoicing with our Heavenly Father. (Virginia, until we meet again, sending you hugs).
