Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Gilberts passing. I found myself laughing at some of the stories & memories family & friends have shared here. He sounds like a really great person. I wished I'd known him better. I know he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

As I play back all the scenes of memories in my mind of when I was a teenager newly moved to Houston, in a new school with new friends, the thought of being at the Araiza house in Quail Valley makes me warm with laughter. Gilbert was quite a character with his bright clothes, big cars and evenings out on the town at the hottest discos!

What a blessing to have been front row and center seeing someone who lived his life fully engaged in all the things that gave him joy and to see how...

I did not know Mr. Araiza personally, but I have worked with one of his daughters, Linda Daugherty, for over 20 years. My heartfelt sympathy to the entire Araiza Family.

Our sincerest condolences to the entire Araiza Family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Gilbert, and to all the Araiza family. Please know that we are thinking of you at this very sad time. Your Dad was one of a kind. I will never forget his generosity towards me when he picked me up for work during summer and spring breaks from college for 4 years. I learned a great deal from him everyday on those trips through Houston traffic.

We were also very glad that we were able to attned his 80th birthday celebration. One thing your Dad knew how to do was enjoy life. He will be...

Our deepest sympathy to the Araiza family. May you find peace and comfort in your hearts knowing that he is now resting without pain and in a much better place. Rudy and I had the pleasure of working along side Gilbert while at Mandel-Kahn.

With deepest sympathy to the family.

EVEN THOUGH HE WAS MY BROTHER IN LAW HE WAS ALWAYS MY BOSS FIRST.I WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY HE GAVE TO GO WORK FOR HIM.BUT I WILL BE ETERNALY GRATEFULL TO HIM FOR TAKING MY NEPHEWS AND NIECES AND GIVING THEM THE FATHER THAT THEY NEEDED. AND I AM ALSO GRATEFUL TO THE ARAIZA CHILDREN JANET, GAIL,LINDA,LOUIS AND GILBERT...
