I am sorry to hear about the loss of my Uncle Gil. Besides engineering, I shared a few hobbies with him. Uncle Gil gave me my first set of golf clubs, which I eventually gave to my brother Dean. Uncle Gil and I were the only ones in the family who enjoyed Ballantine Ale, we didn't let anyone else near it at the Picnic at Croton! Uncle Gil loved women's basketball at Old Dominion University. The family will miss you.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.
