I was so very sorry to see the notice of Gil's passing in the Cincinnati Enquirer. Many years ago, I babysat for you when you lived on Noble Ct. I don't think I ever knew what a truly accomplished man Gil was until I read his obituary. I am certain that he is greatly missed by his family, church friends and former students.
I will certainly keep you all in my prayers.

Gil certainly had a blessed and productive life of service to his family and to others.
The many years as associates at Princeton High School are etched with pleasant memories of shared moments of ministry and happiness.

Our prayers are for the extended family and friends as we look forward to reunion in God's presence.

More details ... Dr. Gilbert L. Braun, age 84, of Tucson, Arizona in recent years, and of Cincinnati, Ohio for many years prior, died on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Born in 1933 on Long Island in Hempstead, New York, to Mina and Ludwig Braun, his life was focused on nurturing and educating others. In 1955, he earned a degree in music education from the College-Conservatory of Music and the University of Cincinnati. As a freshman at CCM, he met the love of his life, Mayree, and they were married...

Gil was my first counselor ever back when I was in college (UC), circa 1992. Such an amazing man! He helped me through some really tough times in my life. He was so great that I referred 2 of my best friends to him for counseling as well... they loved him, too. If I'm not mistaken, he attended all 3 of our weddings (my ex). He was so kind and always made us comfortable... just like talking to your best friend. We ended up seeing him for counseling in later years when he moved his business to...

My sincere condolences. As you mourn the loss of your beloved Gilbert Braun .May the God of peace comfort the family as your cope with your great loss.--Psalms 94:18,19 OO
