Today is October 23 2021 and I miss you so much. Wish I could call you today and talk. I will love you forever. Your little sister

Uncle Gilbert will be and is sorely missed we are just thankful for all the great memories and photographs at such places and events as the beach picnics, North Muskegon State Park, Seaway Festival, the Arena, Family Reunions, Weddings, Birthday Paries and especially in his historic home.

I am sad to learn of Gil's passing. I remember fondly the times at Walker Arena about 1967 to 1969 when I was working concessions for Delores and Bill. Gil was not yet arena manager, but seemed to run the place. I left for the Navy and Viet Nam war in 1969 returning to Muskegon in 1976 with my new bride. Gil remembered me and gave me a job in maintenance at the arena. Walker Arena and the folks there were a great stabilizing force during my late teens and early twenties. I miss that part of...

Where do I begin? Yesterday was a very hard day for my family. Uncle Gilbert was supposed to be with us for many more years. My heart breaks for my Auntie and my cousins Eric and Kim and their families. I will always have wonderful memories of my Uncle Gilbert. He always made me feel special and beautiful.
