Gilbert Dexter Cannon Jr. he was a great man. I loved him very much, I look up to him every day. Even though I didn’t time a lot of time with him he was a great man. I knew him for nearly 11 short years. One day I hope to be great of man has him. I’m one of his grandsons. Trenton Van Meter. Michael son, I love him with all my heat. I went to grade school with GD at Ruth N. Upson. He was a little rascal in our class. So you know, he would be remembered. My husband retired from the 146th Signal Battalion,also. I am sure there are a lot of people who have wonderful memories of GD. I pray that God will give your family strength during this hard time..I am wishing you God's peace.
