Not sure what to say?

One of the best! Many good memories. He continued to work with me after high school to get my American Farmer Degree. Loved him dearly.

Gary and Nancy, You all are in my prayers.. Your Dad was a wonderful man and I remember him singing at the Olden Baptist Church, where Mother played the piano for him... You have comfort knowing he is now singing with the Heavenly Choir and loving every second of it... Love you both, Pam (Brock) Miller

I'll always cherish the memories of being one of his many students and later our continued friendship.

A good and honorable man.

I never had Mr. Copeland as a teacher, but he impressed me as a fine man: a great teacher who loved his students; a humanitarian in the true sense, seeing potential in all; a true participant (no wallflower he). He made an impression on life.

I remember Mr. Copeland from school and later when he worked in Wal-Mart. he was a sweet and friendly man. So sorry for your loss.

I knew Mr. Copeland for 50 years... ever since he came to Olden in 1954 to try to teach us some "vocational Agriculture". He managed to do that, but in addition he instilled in us the need and benefits of honesty, integrity, self motivation and belief in self. If ever a teacher was doing good, it was Gilbert. Always when we returned to Olden or Eastland, we would run into him at Walmart or Olden Homecoming and our days were always brighter and the load was always lighter. What a blessing...

He loved people, and that is why--and how--he touched so many lives, including mine. Thank you for showing me the horizon, and helping light my path to get there. I'm forever grateful.

I used to love watching Bro. Gilbert singing in church on Sunday mornings- First Baptist Cisco- He would get so excited- you could tell he really loved the Lord- I can just see him singing and clapping in Heaven with the Lord!
