Dear Annette Please accept our deep condolences on Gil's passing. May his soul rest in peace with all the saints and the souls of the faithful departed.

I just sent the memory of Gil being my tennis friend. I forgot to sign my name. Bill Kessel of Au Gres, Mi. 48703

I haven't seen Gil since my retirement in 1996 in Saginaw. Gil and I played a "ton" of tennis singles together. We would meet every Friday afternoon at 4 Flags to play singles. We were evenly matched so the play was fierce. Even a bad line called tilted to victory so we watched each other closely. I have great memories of Gil and I am sorry to learn of his passing.

Annette and Girls..… So sorry to learn of Gil’s passing, recalling many fond memories from the old ball field to the outings on the bay. My deepest sympathies.

Condolences to the Deibel family. I remember the Deibel girls from DMHS where I taught biology.

An exiled Gertrude Stein once wrote, " A difference, to BE a difference, must MAKE a difference."...The life and careers of Mr Deibel have, indeed, MADE a difference in the beneficiaries of his presence.......a well-lived life has passed but memory still lingers and will comfort many...NDVarner DO, MPH Medical Director, Saginaw County Department of Public Health and Traverse City resident

Andrea, Laura and Roxanne - so very sorry to learn of the loss of your dad. I'll never forget how every year on Halloween he would always ask us do a trick before he'd give us any candy. Your family had the coolest house on the block. We lost our dad over seven years ago. My very deepest sympathies. Your dad was a wonderful man.
