I knew you Gilbert when we were young and dumb. A few years passed in between and we met again in 2000. I'm glad for the time we spent together in your latter years, camping, bar-b-queing, playing cards, watching football, teaching you how to log on and off the computer, burning movies, cd's, and just being friends again. Now there is a big void in my life. I can't say let's go see Gil and play cards anymore. I can't say let's call Gilbert and go eat anymore. But I do have the memories of all...

Gloria,
I thank God for the opportunity to have spent the last 6 years with you and Gilbert. Gloria, I commend you for everything you did for Gilbert. You were truly a Godsend for him. You...

Gloria, our thoughts have been with you the last several days since we read of Gilbert's passing in the newspaper. We were his neighbors back in 2001-2002, and he worked for Paul at the city. The 2 of you came to our wedding 6 years ago. We have always thought alot of Gilbert. After we moved, he kept us updated on the status of the black neighborhood cat (Sweet Pea) who we grew to love. We are truly sorry for the pain and suffering the 2 of you have had to endure in dealing with his...

Our condolences goes out to the family of Gilbert. Gloria, our sister, we were at your side, I know you have peace of mind. You put your needs, your fear, your life to the side to fullfill the life of someone whom you loved so dearly. God has a special plan for you. It takes a strong and courageous woman to do something like this - you are truly one of a kind and we are proud to call you sister. We love you.
