Rest in peace my friend ....

Rest in peace, Gilbert, and thank you for being a part of the best times of my life. My belated condolences to the Ellis family.

My deepest sympathy to Birds family. He will be missed. I have only recently re-connected with Gil. I have been in touch by phone and as recently as Friday before the Margate get together we had a conversation that lasted about an hour. We laughed about things from our childhood. One night in the dead of winter Gil and a few others to include myself had gotten a little soused. The snow was deep and we were snow diveing. It was not long before we were all soaked to the bone. We went inside of...

Gibert was a brother to Dickie and myself (Nancy) and Billy my brother !We all grew up together from grammer school (Goudy). Our hearts go out to his Mom and family. A mother or father should not have to bury their own child !Our hearts go out to his family and our friends !Gilbert had a heart of gold. Gilbert was always there for me when I needed help (Nancy). Gilbert loved it when we had our get-to-gethers with friends ! He will never be forgotten because he will alway's be in our hearts...

Gil you always made us laugh and smile, the days at Rand McNally will be better remembered because of you. A warm man with a big heart. Until we meet again my friend, adios.

Well i've known Gil for my whole life. He was a great man to everyone, and that is why we love him. It is sad to see him go, but he is in a better place now. I know it will be a while, but we will see each other again. So untill then, goodbye.

Words cannot express what I feel at the loss of Gil. He was a part of my life for 37 years, good and bad. We had many great times, doing some crazy things, and my life will never be the same without him. So,until the time we meet again.....Later Dude
