Gilbert G. Foerster

I'm sorry I never had the opportunity to meet Gil, but I always heard wonderful and loving things about him from Gratia. If you can learn about a person by knowing his children, then I know that Gil was a gratious, warm, intelligent, and well-loved man. My thoughts and love are with Gratia and the entire family.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet Gil on several occasions. He was so warm and generous, and always took the time to get to know Gratia's friends. I know how much he will always mean to Gratia and her mom and my thoughts are with them both and the entire family.

Gil will be greatly missed but never far from my thoughts. His generous and kind spirit touched everyone he came into contact with and forever changed their lives for the better. My fondest memory of him will always be the boat trip he took me on to Catalina Island- such a sense of fun in a man was/and is awe inspiring.

We wish we had the opportunity to meet Gil, however we did get to know him through our coast-to-coast phone calls. He was a kind, generous man who had a wonderful sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gil, Gratia, Pat and the family.

On top of all that is contained within his obituary, Gil was an incredibly humble man -- a man who had an authentic knack for making each and everyone he conversed with feel important... he will be missed, lovingly...
