Gilbert Gutierrez

So sorry to hear of Gil's passing. He was my first principal and still the best one I ever worked for. He was always the master of analogies and I still use many of them today. They don't make them like him anymore. He was a true gem!!

Gilbert was a great friend , an honest friend who could tell you that your breath was bad and you´d never get upset with him . He played basketball with a passion and had a sparkle to his eyes when he was up to things not good . As the world says today " , he was a great friend". I pass my condolences to his family , his friends and those students whose lives were marked by Gilbert´s passing through them .

Frances I am so sorry to hear about Gilbert's passing. He was a special friend at Cathedral and I treasure many beautiful memories of our school days and experiences. I was always so proud to refer to him as a fellow principal. Small world that we both became principals. Sorry for your loss, Mr. Gutierrez was was 3rd grade teacher in Logan Elementary. He was a great teacher that he alwas help me cope to my new school. I was coming from Tijuana and it was very difficult for me to speak and understand english. He made me feel welcome. He was a great Teacher. Rest In Peace Mr. Gutierrez.
