Not sure what to say?

Gil is still the best preacher I have ever heard, bar none! And when I combine that with the warmth, compassion and friendship he offered to everyone, he is also offers all of us an example of what it means to be a human being and a believing Christian. I still miss him!
Mike Skerritt

I have fond memories of Gil as a pastor and as a friend. I really enjoyed his love for baseball. R I P my friend. Julie Stern

Miss you ! Your view of the world and its craziness was unique and wholesome. To all who knew and loved you May Gods grace be with you.

Eight years after his passing I still miss his equanimity and sense of humor. Rest In Peace, Gil!

Dear Jane,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, Gil. May you and your family find comfort in your memories and your life together, May God continue to bless you!

Jane, you may not recognize my name- we attended KSU graduate school together. I remember those rides back and forth! Love to you, my friend!

Can't believe it's a year. Since it's baseball season, my thoughts turn to Gil periodically. Besides being a wonderful person and minister, Gil was a great guy to go to a ballgame with. We did it several times. I always enjoyed it immensely. He was knowledgeable, had interesting stories and knew a good deal of the game's history. Just one of the many reasons I miss him. May he rest in peace. Len Calabrese South Euclid, Ohio

Dear Jane and Emily, Gil was one of the most influential people in my younger years. He helped me grow spiritually, and his faith shaped my own. I still remember many of his sermons! When Mark and I met with him prior to our wedding, he gave us advice that we still follow today. He dedicated our daughter when she was just a few months old. At many key junctures in my life, he guided me. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jane,
You have my deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved Gil. I will always remember his and your kindness to Mary Ann and me at the time of our wedding -- 20 years ago! I will keep you and Emily in my prayers. You were truely a blessing!

Dear Jane and Emily,
I feel like I have lost a member of my family. You, Gil and Emily have been such an integral part of Kent's and my life, our children's lives and our grandchildren's lives. It was wonderful to share so many holidays and special times together. We have laughed and cried together and now Gil has left us. Two wonderful men were in our lives. They both leave astounding memories with us. Now, they are together again.
My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
