Gilbert served the Lord Jesus Christ in many ways including giving strong leadership to the Rio Grande Conference of the United Methodist Church. I thank God for Gilbert's life. May God console his wife and family.

I always looked up to Mr. Hernandez. He was an outstanding Christian witness and I was blessed to have known him. Peace to his family that will no doubt miss him.

Gilbert was a wonderful man, honored and cherished by those who knew him. He loved his family and led by examples he set. Gilbert impacted many lives in a positive way. It was my pleasure to know and work with Gilbert for almost 20 years. I will miss my friend.

Gilbert leaves a memory of man I admired. He offered support, friendship, honesty, and caring. Im glad I knew him.

What a mighty God we serve. My sympathy is with your family. I was Blessed to meet Mr. Gilbert through his daughter Gilda (my friend/sister). He was a very nice person and will be truly missed. Keep praying and God will give you strength which surpasses your understanding.

There are no words to express the sadness in our hearts over the loss of our beloved friend, Gilbert. He will forever me remembered by his faithful witness, kind and caring heart and love for his family. Gilbert was ready to meet the Lord and may his family and friends who will miss him dearly find comfort and peace in the coming days.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hernandez family in the loss of their loved one. Gilbert was a friend we could always rely on. We will miss him.
