Gilbert C. Herrick

Uncle Gilbert is the sweetest, Kindest most gentle man I have even known. He was loved by many. My husband and I made airline reservations to come to Rochester on Sunday, May 19 to visit with Uncle Gilbert and his lovely wife Virginia. How sad that this reunion will not take place as planned. We are still making the trip to see Virginia and would love to meet with other family and friends to hear stories and share pictures of Uncle Gilbert's life. Please don't hesitate in contacting me.

Deepest sympathies from a MCH volunteer who enjoyed every moment I shared with Gilbert. I remember helping him in the Boutique to buy a blue sports jacket to wear on the Honor Flight... he was so proud of his service to our country. I expect that Gilbert will be a gate keeper in heaven just as he was the gate keeper at the greenhouse at MCH. His personality was a bright as any heavenly star. God Bless, Dave Smith
