Not sure what to say?

Gil was always there, whenever I needed his help, especially in support of Major Armstrong's memory. The custom crystals that he had made for me were always perfect. He never let me down.

He was a great man, and a true gentleman, and it was an honor to know him.

Thank You Gil for being a friend! You helped me through some rough times. Yous in Christ Tom Fletcher

In our hearts you will always remain as a very dear and close member of the family. Our wonderful memories of you will last from here to eternity. May you rejoice in the Glory of God.

Gilbert was greatly loved by his sister-in-law Carolyn (Shearer) Urso, who passed away last year, and her surviving brother-in-law Louis Urso. Gilbert was an individual who touched the heart of everyone who knew him. He will be missed very much and always remembered in our thoughts and prayers

We wii miss Gil (the colonel), a dear friend for over 30 years. He was a strong supporter of The Radio Club of America and a long time radio amateur (callsign W3BXO). He also developed and manufactured spcialized crystals for highly accurate frequency generating electronic systems. My sincere condolences to all who knew and loved him. 73, Gil, we'll meet again "down the log." Eric, K2TO.

Gil helped me very much. He rented a nice apartment to me and friends when I was nearly broke. Part of the deal was that I had to care for OMAR his beautiful boxer dog at times. Omar could leap the yard fence with ease. I appreciate Gil's kindness and friendship. Til we meet again.
