Not sure what to say?

Gib assisted me many times as a timer/scoreboard operator for the Mount Nittany Middle School boys and girls basketball games and as a member of the "chain gang" for middle school, 9th grade, and junior varsity football games. He just walked into Ron Pavlechkos office one day at State College High School and offered his services. That sort of thing just doesn't happen.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I worked at Spang briefly in 1987-88 and got to know Gibby and the boys in Accounting. Enjoyed Friday lunches at Jake´s bar with the gang. A great guy I will always remember. My mother graduated with Gibby and remembers him as a well liked fellow and a good football player. Rest in Peace Gib!

I always loved Uncle Gib. He was such a nice guy! Just like his sister Selma, it runs in the family. Thinking of you guys- Marcy, Jeff, Bill, Gary, Scott, and Bruce. We always had a lot of fun anytime Uncle Gib was around.

We have so many wonderful memories of our times with Gib. Our lunches together and the weekly visits at our home were always full of laughter and stories. Gib always was interested in Trevor's special olympic accomplishments and praised him. We have missed him since we moved but thankfully Don and he kept in touch. Hopefully the wonderful loving care that the family gave him and kept him at home will give you peace going forward. Love, Don, Diane & Trevor

I am so sorry to lean of Gib's passing, Linda. So many memories of when we were all young and raising families. Gib, Dave Gamble, Carl divers and Bill Boyd played church League basketball. We wives would go to the games, then we would all go to someone's house for potluck and a game of Pokeno.

I have many fond memories of "Uncle Gib" and I will always remember his kind personality and caring ways. He was a wonderful family man and always made me feel like I was part of the family. Rest In Peace Uncle Gib. My deepest condolences to the family

As a young boy raised on Mercer St I remember Gib. Always remembered as a good guy. RIP old friend.
