PRAYERS and BLESSINGS to family and friends......LOVE,PEACE and HARMONY

When the average person reaches the pinnacle of success they usually will do nothing to disturb or disrupt the status quo. Dr. Mason was never content to rest on his long list of distinguished accomplishments instead Dr.Mason continued to fight for many of the freedoms we now take for granted. Thank you Dr. Mason for being so devoted to the constant battle for dignity and respect for all of us.

MRS. GWENDOLYN MASON AND FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE FOR EXPRESSING THEIR THOUGHTS, COMMENTS AND CONDOLENCES.

To the Mason Family: May the steadfast commitment of Dr. Gilbert R. Mason, Sr., to the cause for justice and liberty for all be of great comfort to you. For he would not have been able to maintain the course without knowing he was always in the Lord's hands and so are you. The Lord has, is and will continue to bless you.

TO THE MASON FAMILY MUCH PRAYER MUCH POWER MR.MASON WAS A NICE AND RESPCTABLE MAN AND HE HAS ENJOYED HIS LIFE VERY MUCH BUT HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE NOW AND THE WORKS HE DID FOR THE COMMUNITY WILL LIVE ON IN EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US.

FROM JOYCE CALLAHAN

To Gilbert, Jr. and the entire Mason Family, my condolences. Dr. Mason Sr.'s memory will dwell in the hearts and minds of many forever. The reflections of his life will certainly serve as an inspiration to my family. I will continue praying for strength, guidance, love and support for each of you during this time of bereavement.

I remember Dr. Mason in so many of the NAACP meetings I attended. He did not let his profession stop him from his social, civic, and humanitarian duties. Although he could have played the role of an aristocrat, he was an humble man.

I recently learned of Dr.Mason's passing, and wanted to express my condolences to his family on the passing of this great man of God. I can recall as a child growing up in Biloxi and walking with my parents to visit my grandmother when we had to hide from several cars of angry Whites shooting guns in our neighborhood. I was too young to understand what was happening. I also recall several fun years of swimming on the beach, and having great classmates (Black & White)up to graduating from BHS....

Thank you Dr. Mason for all your lifelong work for the betterment of mankind
