Gilbert Miramontes

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Gilbert "Kiki" Miramontes, age 49, of Albuquerque and formerly of Las Cruces on Monday, June 8, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident. "Kiki", as he was fondly known to family and friends, was born April 9, 1966 in Canutillo, TX to Manuel Alfonso and Lupe Villalobos Miramontes. Kiki was an electrician by trade, a Miami Dolphins fan and a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Those left to mourn his passing include two sons, Matthew Miramontes and companion Shelby Barker and Andrew Miramontes all of Las Cruces; his mother, Lupe Miramontes of Anthony; three brothers, Manuel Miramontes and wife Veronica of Canutillo, TX, John Henry Miramontes and wife Maria Luz, and Alfredo Miramontes and companion Norma Holguin all of Anthony; two sisters, Irene Miramontes also of Anthony and Ofelia Miramontes of Killeen, TX. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Kiki was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Alfonso Miramontes.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 9:30 AM Monday, June 15, 2015 in St. Anthony Catholic Church, 224 Lincoln Street in Anthony where the Memorial Mass will follow immediately thereafter with the Augustinian Recollects officiating. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.
