Not sure what to say?

Mr. Nolley is sadly missed by all who he touched in his long career . We remember him from grade school times (just had 40th Manchester reunion)through high school and after; he guided us well. I remember his tireless work to have a new high school built; the community trusted his judgement. He had a presence that you respected. He was so proud of his gardening and several times brougt beautiful tomatos to our house; the first time my sister, who is much younger, was...

Mr. Nolley will always be known in Manchester as a great teacher and principal. He will always be remembered by our family and the Class of 1956.

Mr. Nolley was Superintendent of Schools my entire time in elementary, jr.high & highschool. I will always remember him as a professional who wasn't stingy with a smile or kind word. I'll always picture him in a smart gray suit and tie surrounded my children.

mr. nolley was a fine man, always thinking of others first. He gave of himself much, I hope that there is a special place for him ,in heaven. I will miss you. ron

Mr. Nolley's quiet dignity and sense of fairness gave us all a gift that we have carried with us into adulthood. We have indeed been blessed to have known him. Best wishes to Evelyn and family.

Dear Evelyn: Do you rember when my parents went out west and I stayed with Banks Myers family and uncle Joes family. I got home sick at both places. When I came to uncle Cleve's every one was so up-beat that I enjoyed myself. You girls sang "Yes We Have No Bannas Today". You would lightly pinch my neck, while I enjoyed the attention. After you married Gilbert I would come to visit you. Gilbert and I would wrestle to see who was the the strongest. You folks will...

Nolley was a great addition to be on our family tree. He was the greatest family man that I ever have Knowen, that dident have children of his own!

As an Elder of High Street Christian Church in Akron, OH, I had the privilege to visit with and bring communion to Gilbert and Evelyn on several occasions recently. I remember Mr. Nolley as a longstanding, active member of High Street and his physical presence will be sorely missed. His sharp mind and interest in church and school were always evident. God bless you Mr. Nolley, good and faithful servant. May God also give His comfort and peace to Evelyn.

Mr. Nolley will be greatly missed by all. Even though I have never personally met him, I sure feel like I have. Mr. Nolley is talked about very highly in the Manchester Schools. My 2nd grade daughter came home from school the day that Mrs. Carpas, Nolley School principal, told the children that Mr. Nolley had passed away and told me that she almost started to cry because it was so sad. Thanks Mr. Nolley for everything you have done for our children. Our Deepest...
