Not sure what to say?

A great uncle, very much missed.

Memories I have -good ones-time spent with you and Caroline -a cup of tea-with fish and crackers but most of all great conversation be it old times-politics-family we covered it all. Thank you for all the kindness you have shown my children. Yes! uncle Gilbert you will be missed over that next cup of tea. God bless Peggy & Homer

Gilbert (Gibby)always had a smile. We loved his wit and enjoyed his friendship through the years. Bless all the family who have lost their dear one.

Dear Caroline, thank you, God Blessed both of you with the love and joy you shared for all these years. He was a gentleman and you are an awesome lady. with love Grace Marie

Dearest Family, God placed our dear Uncle Gilbert in this family so we could all be blessed by his true loving and compassionate heart. when my Mother, his sister had had to go to Seattle to treat her T.B I was sent to live with his family in Seward, the kindness and love I was blessed with in his home has and will remain with me forever, children of his, my heart grieves for you as you bid him Bon Voyage, but I know and trust our dear Lord has him in His loving care, he is with "Bovitz now...

Uncle Gilbert was the best Uncle anyone could ever have. He had a way about him; he made you feel like you were the most special person in the room. He showed he loved you and truly cared about you. He listened and he shared his life. I am very proud to say he was my Uncle. I will miss this great man, "Uncle Gilbert"

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

Dearest Uncle Gilbert, What a great man you were, and I will never forget you. You were kind, compassionate and had a gentle heart, wonderful smile and great sense of humor and so much love that you felt for your family. You had the most caring of hearts.. I admired you so much, and I will treasure the brief time that I saw you here in Anchorage before you went back to Seward. Rest In Peace.

Great uncle, great man, will be missed very much.
