The world is a lesser place without Gil there to teach and love in. I only knew him for a few years and it was too short. I am glad he is in a better place and his soul is where it belongs.

For years Mr. Pittenger was such a great backdoor neighbor to the Julian family growing up in Mountainside. Although we didn't realize it until we were older, he was such an impressionable man on my brother Rob & I with his work ethic, his moral code, his generosity and most of all his sense of humor and fun. I remember staying at the farm with my brother Rob one Fall when we were 12 or so and we did everything from hard manual labor, riding the tractors, fishing, etc. and really enjoying...
