It is with deep saddness and sympathy for the Robinson family for the loss of a family treasure and one of Newark's Bravest. Some men talked about being a good firefighter,Gil never did and was one.I enjoyed working with him. Rest in peace "firefighter"

My deepest sympathy to the Robinson family. When I came on the Newark Fire Dept as a rookie Gil was instrumental in helping me ajust to a new profession and was a great friend thoughout the years.

My deepest Sympathy to the Robinson family.
Gil and I served together for many years (I worked in Engine 12). Gil was a devoted firefighter and I was proud to work with him.
He was also a devoted christian and church member. At times we would have conversations about our Lord and savior.

It is with deep sadness that I read of the passing of Firefighter Robinson. But am proud to have served with one who has provided so much good to the world we live in. I thank his family for allowing us all to have shared in his life. You have our deepest sympathy.

To Gil's family members. I was very saddened to see of your loss.
Gil and I worked together a number of years in the firehouse at Bergen & Lehigh until 1976.
It was a joy to see that Gil was such a devoted asset to his church
and I'm sure you have many treasured memories of him.
