Not sure what to say?

Gil, I miss you. You purity to life and Tennis defined you purpose.

Nice to think about "Gil." He spent most of his time doing what he loved most in life-TENNIS. I enjoyed playing Tennis and GOT his LOVE for the GAME. He was a Kind Loving Person.

Hard to believe it has been 9 years. I met Gil at the Anchorage Tennis Club in 1976. I had recently taken up Tennis and Gil always shared pointers especially after watching some of my Tennis. He always seemed to be UP Beat but in a quiet way. He was a Good Human Being. He Cared about others. He was Helpful. He was Generous. AND Man could he play Tennis !!! Wow. A thrill to watch how he managed his Matches. I think the words that most describes Gil are, "Happy and Caring."

It is nice to be reminded of my friend Gil. He was always UPBEAT. I miss our playing and discussing Tennis.

I will remember sunny days when he gave us tennis pointers on the outdoor Reynolds HS courts....

May I share my sympathy to the family of the great and always upbeat Gil Rodriguez
I knew him from Tennis in Anchorage, Ak, from about 1977-1986. He gave me lots of pointer of the game, but more, demonstrated a consistant "happiness" seen in few people. He touched my life in a very positive way. Sincerely, Steve D. Smith of Roseville , Ca.

I am so sorry to hear about Gil, he was a good friend and my best doubles partner i have ever had. We had so much fun hitting balls and just enjoying the game of tennis. He never had an angry word for anyone. I still remember him saying this to this when he was teaching. I wish i could have seen him and hit some balls with him.
Your friend, Dave Edwards
