Whenever I hear "Where the hell is Brent Rock?" I always think of Gil, Murph and Dick. We spent a week there one summer and had alot of fun just relaxing, eating, laughing, eating, swimming, eating,picking up rocks, eating, fishing, eating. The six of us saw beautiful sunsets and really relaxed and oh yeah, ate. I think I gained 10 pounds that week but every pound was worth it. It was a wonderful time and I will never forget it.All three men are gone now but never forgotten.I bet Gil is now...

I have many fond memories of Gil Russell as I was growing up as boy and considered him as a father figure and enjoyed his company along with his lovely wife Florence. He was a dear friend and A SPECIAL GUY! He will be missed and forever remembered by myself and many others.

Will always remember being in Dance Club with Gil & Flo and the ice-skating afternoons & suppers with them & Bob & Hilda Forth & my sister, Lois, & her husband and my husband, also now deceased. Gil was a very special person.

I will always think of Gil when I am swimming at Green Lake (Tully). Tom and I wil miss chatting with him and Flo when we swim our laps and sitting on the beach. Gil was a true gentleman and he will be truly missed in our community.
