Not sure what to say?

Gil, my cousin. I am so sorry, that I will not see you again in my next trip to horsehead. Your worm smile, and relaxed voice that I can still hear in my head, will not say to me, "Hey Melly, how things are in Isael now? I just read in the paper so and so...you should come for a longer visit...".
Gil was admired by our family for his ability to support his family (Mother and Brother) since young age. This of course was with the help of his wife and her family that accepted him and...

Gil Schmidt was my first cousin, and there are few people I respected, and thought more of than Gil. He was an outstanding good person, and cared deeply for those he loved. I will remember him always, and cherish his memory.
He had a beautiful family....his gracious wife Lois, and of course his two daughters Cathy and Sandy, who loved and appreciated him. He was also a loving and devoted grandfather to Rachel and Benjy, as well as a devoted brother to Ben.

My condolences to the family. It was wonderful to read about Gilbert Schmidt's life. You are in my prayers.

I adored Mr. Schmidt, and adored history because of him. I remember with great fondness our talks long after I had graduated High School, while I was working reception during the evening at Elcor. He would come to visit his Mom and always stop to chat. I am sincerely sorry for your great loss.

I remember Mr Schmidt very well, what a great teacher..he was one of those teachers that you would look forward to seeing everday at school.
He always had the time to talk, and the generation gap meant nothing to him, he was a friend.
I did see him and talk with him several years afer I moved from the area, and although it had been probably 15 years since schooldays, he still remembered me.
He was a great guy, with a great sincere smile. .
my condolences to the family.

Schmidt Family: Sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Schmidt for History class in the 60's; he did make his classes very interesting. I was in Mr. Schmidt's class when the announcement that President Kennedy had been shot. I remember everyone including Mr. Schmidt crying.Keep your fond memories of him with you and it will ease the pain of your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Gilbert as a Social Studies teacher many years ago. He did make history class fun. He always had a smile and a passion for wanting his classes to learn.

My condolences to Gilbert's family. He always had a smile on his face.
