Not sure what to say?

Gilbert had the absolutely BIGGEST Heart I have ever known. He was generous, compassionate and at times, brutally honest. Gilbert loved fine horses, drink, fine cuisine, friends and most of all family. Even his various extended families were never forgotten nor forsaken by this truly wonderful man. He will be deeply missed by all who have known him, whether as their dentist, friend or family. My heart goes out to Beverly for I know at times life with Gilbert was difficult but she stuck by him...

I WAS A PATIENT OF DR. SULLIVAN, HE WAS A VERY CARING, PERSONABLE DENTIST. I JUST WAS INFORMED TODAY ON MY RETURN VISIT, AND WAS DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE NEWS. HE WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED. MY LAST CONVERSATION WITH DR. SULLIVAN WAS SATURDAY,24 AUG,I CALLED HIM AT HOME AND LEFT A MESSAGE TO TELL HIM THAT I WAS EXPERIENCING REAL BAD TOOTH PAIN. AS DR. I loved that man. He was honest to the point of being blunt, but you knew where you stood. He could party with the best of em. I'm gonna REALLY miss him. Jim

I know of no other single person I have ever had more fun with! Uncle Gilbert will be missed. I still have the perfect feet!

Much love to all of his family and friends.

I was so sadden by the death of Uncle Gilbert.
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with Little Gilbert, Jan, Holly and Philip their families and the rest of Uncle Gilberts family.

May he rest in peace.

Cousins,

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope you are all well. I will be thinking of you.

Keith

My thoughts and prayers are with Beverly and the family. Gilbert was my dentist, but I also considered him and Beverly my friends. He saw to it that me, and my two girls were taken care of when I was struggling to raise them alone. I will never forget the kindness he showed to us, and to many others. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for Gilbert, Jan, Holly and phillip - my cousins. I will be thinking of you. I had not seen Uncle Gilbert in several years, but I remember how much time he took to play with us when we were children running around Mammaw's house.
