Gilbert G. "GIB" Swiger

I never really knew Gib except that he and my sister Pat were married at a very early age and I did spend time with them. I am glad that he got in contact with Pat. She used to say he would come to her apt. and just sit there until she woke up. He will be dearly missed by all.
He loved playing with my grandson when I would go over to Pat's. They made good friends. Peace be with you now Gib. Watch over Pat from up there. Dee

I loved Gib so very, very much and I will miss him daily for the rest of my life. He brought such joy and companionship to my Mother and he always had a way of putting a special smile on our faces. He was more than just a friend to me and I sometimes felt that he was a father figure in my life......I would give anything just to be able to shake his hand one more time and hear him say { after I asked him how he was doing } "Still able to get around". I recall the day that I gave him that back...

sorry about Uncle Gib and Aunt Nona. they are not in any more pain.just remember they loved you alot. I was shocked when Aunt Della called me and told me that uncle Gib died, again I'm sorry, I will miss them alot. love your Cousin Glen.
