Always kind, laughed easily, and a joy to know, my parents were so very fond of him and so was I. Sending our sincere condolences to the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the sons of Gil Whiteside. Your dad, and your mother when she was alive were very close friends of my mom and dad. Our dads both worked at Prudential for many years and your parents spent a lot of weekends at our cottage on the Chester river. I can truly identify wiyh your loss. They say time heals all; not necessarily true, but it does help make losses more acceptable. I am sure your memories will sustain you in the days ahead. Uncle Gil was a great man and great uncle. I know he has been like my Dad the past few years and I'll miss our phone calls. My love to Ron, Gil, Debbie and grandchildren.
