Gilbert Turner Williams, 60, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at his home.

Mr. Williams was born November 7, 1945, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late Joseph Milton and Gladys Turner Williams, Jr. He worked on the family farm, Woodville, prior to his employment as an electrician for Rubbermaid, retiring after 32 years of service. Mr. Williams was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of Pinnacle Hunting Club. He was a Handley High School graduate and a Veteran having served two years with the United States Army.

Surviving are his brother Jack Williams and his wife Mary, of Winchester, Virginia; his nephew, David S. Williams and his wife Lindetta, of Stephens City, Virginia; a sister-in-law, Barbara Yost Williams, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, and good friend, Brad Cave, of Winchester, Virginia.

One brother, John Milton Williams preceded him in death.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday at Mount Hebron Cemetery Chapel with Mr. David A. Owings officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
