Connor-Healy Funeral Home - Manchester Obituary

Gilberte E. Boucher, 101, of Manchester, NH, died September 15, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a period of declining health.

Born in Manchester, NH on August 6, 1910, she was the daughter of Jean Noel and Adelina (Marcotte) Guertin.

She attended local schools and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City.

Mrs. Boucher spent her life as a homemaker.

She was a communicant of Saint Anthony Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality of Saint Anne.

She will be remembered as a loving and devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother whose family was the center of her life. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, and especially taking trips to York Beach.

She was married to Cyrias H. Boucher. He died August 15, 1972.
Family members include two sons, Donald H. Boucher and his wife, Judith of Manchester, NH, and Richard F. Boucher of Manchester, NH, two daughters, Priscilla T. Breton and her husband, Richard of Laconia, NH and Charlotte L. Bouchard of Manchester, NH; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great–grandchildren, two sisters, Lucienne Desruisseaux and Sr. Florence Guertin both of Manchester, NH; several nieces and nephews.

Services: Calling hours are Monday from 10AM to 12 noon at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, corner of Concord Street, Manchester, NH.

The funeral will be held Monday with a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 12:30PM in Saint Anthony Church, Belmont Street, Manchester, NH.
Entombment will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
