Not sure what to say?

Beto had an amazing mind. How one person could store so much knowlege is still a mystery to me. As an educator, I admired hearing him; as my family, I enjoyed having him in our home. He was gifted and skilled and loved whole-heartedly. I can only hope to encounter more people like him. God rest his soul, and God bless the family and friends who mourn him.

I see his picture and I think he's still around, planning his next trip to Texas. He was an awesome and loving man to be around. All my love and prayers go to the Carrillo family. He is greatly missed by all who knew him well, and all who barely knew him. That's how much of an impact he had on every person who met him. God bless you.

went to school with gilbert, from mt. view, to arvin high, he was truly one of the kindnes, soft spoken friends , that i had the pleasure and honor, to call him my friend, to margaret and his children, and to the whole carrillo family my thoughts and prayers are with you , im just sorry i could not have been in person to say my good bys to my friend, but one day will come, when we will meet again gilbert.... .. jaime perez and family

My uncle was truly an amazing human being he touched many people in a very special way. I will miss his smile that would light up a room. I was blessed to of had him in my life he was like a dad to me. Love you always.

Dear Carrillo Family, I will miss Gilberto and his beautiful smile. His heart was always in the right place - a very generous man. I loved his obituary and want to express to whomever put it together did a fantastic job of capturing the true essence of Gilberto. He will be in my thoughts and prayers, and to the Carrillo Family, God Bless you in your time of need.

I hired on with Gilbert at Getty..he was a good guy......my thoughts and prayers are with the family. Michael Marquez

I remember when I was an intern at Kern River, Gilbert always made me feel welcome and checked in on me to make sure that I was adjusting to Bakersfield. On my last day of the summer, he took several of us out to lunch and shared his inspiring personal story with us. He was a big part of the reason that I decided to join Chevron. I will miss him and always remember the empathy showed for others. Peace and blessings to his family, Uduak

I'm still trying to accept that Gilbert is gone.He was the nicest person I've ever met and im going to miss him dearly.I will pray that you will be blessed in his absence and during this time of grieving.
