I first met Giles, Hillery, and their wonderful children when our kids were at Highlands. Since then, Giles and I stayed in touch, albeit occasionally, and even when he was ill. Giles was an example to us all. He was a dedicated civic leader and just the best possible husband and father. His sense of humor, thoughtful compassion, and sense of decency and grace were models for me. My thoughts are with his family in this difficult time.
