Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Davis, I was thinking of you today and how you made me feel special at a vulnerable time in my young life. You noticed and cared for me when I didn't get everything I needed at home, and encouraged my creative writing, which is one of my soul's treasures and greatest gifts. You made such an impression on me, and to this day I sign my Gs with an oversized lowercase cursive G, like you. I will always remember your kindness. You too, Mr. Mark. -- Much love, Gina Grant 1983 o 3rd Grade o...

Ginger is a beautiful memory of a loving friend. She still flits across the windmills of my mind often. She will always be a special unforgettable part of our hearts to those whos lives were blessed to be touched by her.

Today I was thinking about my past teachers and decided to look up Mrs. Davis on the internet. And I'm sad to find that she's no longer with us. But I would like to share the impact that Mrs. Davis has made in my life.

Mrs. Davis was my 5th grade teacher at Diamond Elementary in Santa Ana, CA. She was my inspiration to become a teacher. Every time I tell others of how I wanted to be a teacher, I always talk about my fifth grade experience. She was so loving and caring towards every...

The greatest teacher I ever had. 1976 Harbour View Elementary

Ginger,

Thirty-five years ago you changed my life forever as my 4th grade teacher. You had a beautiful way of balancing kindness and directness. And as my own children have grown and gone through teachers, it has become even more apparent what a special teacher you were. You had a gift and you shared it with so many. I will always be grateful for you sharing that gift with me as a young 10 year old boy.

Ginger......where do I begin to describe my wonderful friend and soulmate. She made me laugh until tears streamed down my face while at the same time telling me I was a worthwhile person worthy of standing up for myself. She taught me style in my home and always had an opinion. She would come to my house and rearrange things and it always looked better. I loved it! She was generous and had the most giving heart of anyone I've ever known. She would go out of her way to bring me muffins just...

Mrs. Davis you are a magnificent teacher. I will miss you a lot. I can't believe I won't be able to see you but you will always be in my heart, thoughts, and I will never forget how much you inspired me. I love you and you are in my prayers.

Ginger,
We were friends for many, many years. Teaching with you was always an adventure and those years were some of the best years of my life. You were an awesome person and friend. I still can't believe you are gone. I miss you now and always will.

Much love,
Ann

I just heard this news. Ginger was a lovely lady. I think it's true that only the good die young. God bless her and her family.
