Ginger Kyle Moore, 62, of California, Missouri passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at her home. She was born on February 27, 1953 in Eldon, Missouri to Jess and Carol (Hutsler) Cummings; her father preceded her in death. Ginger graduated in 1971 from the School of the Osage at Lake Ozark, MO. She earned her BME at Central Missouri University (University of Central Missouri) in 1975 with a minor in piano. She was united in marriage to Rick Moore on November 4, 1978 at Lake Ozark Christian Church. For two years, she taught music at Lawson Elementary in Lawson, MO, then twenty-four years at California R-1 Elementary until her retirement. After retiring, Ginger then went to teach music at Immaculate Conception School in Jefferson City and spent four years at Latham Elementary School. Throughout her career, Ginger was a Choir Accompanist. Ginger was a member of the California United Methodist Church where she was very active in the Church Music Ministry Department. She was also a member of P.E.O. and Delta Kappa Gamma and the Missouri Music Educators Association. Ginger enjoyed traveling, summers at the pool, shopping and was an avid sports fan (KC Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, Pintos and MU). During her tenure at California Elementary she started the California Kids program, was a sponsor of flag corps, dance squad and cheerleaders. Throughout her lifetime, she played at funerals, weddings and music contests with performance highlights at Disney World and Carnegie Hall. She was member of One and Only Singers at CMSU. Ginger is survived by: her mother Carol Cummings-Bassett and her step-father Bill Bassett, of Lake Ozark, MO; her husband Rick Moore of the home; three daughters Morgan Elizabeth Fulks (Lance), of Latham, MO, Molly Kyle Moore (Mike Degen) of New York and Mary Kate Moore of New Jersey; one sister Mary Kay Quiett, Wausau, WI; two step sisters Kimberly Bechtold (David) of Osage Beach, MO and Toni Jo Milner (Jim)of Collinsville, IL; two grandchildren Kolten and Isabella Fulks both of Latham; one sister-in-law Connie Antone (David),Blue Springs, MO; one brother-in-law Mike Moore (Teresa) of Raytown, MO; several nieces; nephews and many friends. She was also preceded in death by: her father-in-law Richard D. Moore; mother-in-law Barbara J. Moore and a brother-in-law Dan F. Quiett.
