     Mrs. Ginger Echols Pennington, age 79, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, in a local hospice facility.



 



     Mrs. Pennington was born July 24, 1937, in Richmond, Arkansas, grew up in the Fordyce, Arkansas area and had lived most of her life in Texarkana.  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a Homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Pennington.



 



     Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Darryl Jones of Texarkana, Arkansas, Donna and Keith Walker of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Dara and Michael Cornett of Doddridge, Arkansas, one brother, Dr. O. L. Echols of Port Neches, Texas, two sisters, Mary Catherine von Glahn of Sarasota, Florida, and Judith White of Texarkana, Texas, and eight grandchildren, Adrianne (AJ) and her husband Brian Frost, Wheeler Jones, Michael and his wife Hanna Walker, Robby Walker, Allyssa Walker, Kenneth Walker, Kyle Walker, and Jackson Cornett.



 



     Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Bill Saxby and Rev. Charlie Elrod officiating.  Graveside services will be at 3:30 P. M. Wednesday at the Wheeler Cemetery near Fordyce, Arkansas under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.



 



     The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 PM until 7 PM Tuesday.



 



     The family will be at the home of Debbie and Darryl Jones in the Pleasant Hill Community, Texarkana, AR.



 



     Memorials may be made to: Hospice of Texarkana, 2407 Galleria Oaks Drive, Texarkana, Texas, 75503, or to Watersprings Ranch, 7707 Sanderson Lane, Texarkana, Arkansas, 71854.
