Not sure what to say?

Loved Joan and Gino's friendhip, so uniquely genuine, and all about you never about them. What fun we enjoyed through the years the Italian club, dinners at one another's homes, smelt fishing in the pitch dark on the lake in waders, a bonfire, kids running around, just adjacent to the Drake downtown ehatca contrast to our Smelting activities pulling in full nets and our famous deep fried smelt picnics at Sylvia's home, the kids donning beer and pop cans on their shoes and parading...

In reading the newsletter of the Lucchesi Nel Mondo Association, I just learned of the passing of Gino. I, as well as my entire family wish to express our deepest sympathy to Joan and the rest of his family.

I was honored to serve on the Lucchesi Association Board of Directors when he was President and I was even more honored when Gino nominated me and I received an award from the Chamber of Commerce of Lucca in 1998.

Please accept our sincerest condolences.

Dear Joan & Family,
We are so surprised and sad to hear about the loss of Gino. He will be greatly remembered as our great neighbor, friend and like my Dad next door. My deepest condolences to the entire family. I have known Gino since he was an architect for Del Bianco and worked with Dick Donatoni. Gino helped draw the plans for building several of our schools and I was personally, professionally and socially part of his life as Associate Superintendent at School District 15. Later as a Consultant at the school district Gino and I frequently met and talked. He was a great guy. Highly intelligent, competent and a true christian who loved people and his...

Here's to Gino & Joan, salt of the earth goodness, always there for anyone in need, fun-loving, focused on others, not themselves. Gino, how we love you and honor you now, as always, for the kind, focused, giving person you have been and will always remain lovingly in our thoughts and prayers. What a blessing just to know you and Joan, yet to call you, my dear friends.

So sorry to hear about your loss. With sincere and deepest sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless! Bobby and Janet (Van Price) Magee

Joan, Gemma and Family, to the "master builder": My thoughts are with you all.
I cannot express enough what a dear and great mentor/Architect Gino has been for me. I will always, always remember him my entire life since he was a tremendous catalyst for my career. I remember his beautiful sketches and hand drawn drawings and his engineering skills. He was a great person, always giving of himself and sharing his knowledge with me.
He will be missed dearly.
