Not sure what to say?

I was really sad to see Gino's obituary. A friend's husband introduced me to him 20 plus years ago when I needed an attorney for family matters. Gino was the most caring person with all the matters that needed to be handled. I talked to him a few months ago but I wish I had the chance to say hi recently. He will be immensely missed. My deepest condolences to Astrid and the family.

He was good friends of my Aunt Crystal English and Father Tom Monstis. They were part of the Clinton Street Picnic. Geno was a good man helped me with a difficult case...

Gino was a lifelong friend to my father, Will Menicosy. He blessed our whole family with his spirit & humor. He brings a smile to everyone´s face when we speak of the fond, wonderful times we spent with him. He will be missed by all of us. Rest in peace, our kind, giving and funny friend.

Met Gino through Astrid, who played water volleyball with me at the MAC. They were such good friends. Thinking of you, Astrid.

Yesterday's service at Augustana would have made Gino very happy. The testimonials of friends and family, the jazz Gino loved so much, beautifully performed, and the loving narrative from Rev. Knutson were all wonderful, and fitting for such a wonderful man. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Astrid, his loving family, and many many people who will remember happily how Gino made our world better.

Astrid, my heartfelt condolences to you and family. I hope that you received my telephone message as to why I could not attend the service at Augustana. I hope that I recover somewhat from stage 4 cancer so that i can meet you personally in the not too distant future. You and Gino have been great friends in the previous decade. I always looked forward to visiting or meeting with you both, my closest friends in PDX after my return here. RIP,Gino. In deepest sadness , Peter.

Gino was a great guy! The world going to miss him! Bob and I send our deepest condolences to you Astrid, and the rest of the family. God bless all of you

Gino lit a fire under us here at Oswego Summit. Always with a smile and hearty Hello. He never met a stranger who remained a stranger. He had an ear for talent, good music and hearing people. Gino made it a point to actively participate in the HOA Board, getting us started on many projects that needed attention. If Gino was invited you had a PARTY! Plus a loaf of bread from Eidelweis Bakery, some fresh Italian salami, cheese and a bottle of wine. Astrid is the rock at his side. Their...

Gino and I worked out together at the MAC for over fifty years. He was one of the regulars that you could always count on to be there to exercise with. He liked to run with me up through Washington Park and end up at his beautiful home overlooking the city. There on the porch we would gaze at the wonderful view and have a snack or beverage furnished by his lovely wife Astrid. We were always on the same side of any debate as we relaxed and figured out how to solve the world's problems. Gino...
