I've had the pleasure learning of Gino by finding a copy of his obituary in the steal of a deal dehydrator my friend bought at a yard sale. I've been asking the universe for this kind of appliance for years now, my friend knowing the deep interest couldn't pass up the offer. Although it was covered a very brown splashy liquid I was able to sup it up to fine working order. Gino was a feature of my life the summer of 1965. My father, Bruce FitzGerald, had designed a rustic ranch style home for property he and my mother had purchased at 808 Romero Canyon Road. Dad hired Gino to build a massive stone fireplace for the house from sandstone rocks found on the property.
