I've had the pleasure learning of Gino by finding a copy of his obituary in the steal of a deal dehydrator my friend bought at a yard sale. I've been asking the universe for this kind of appliance for years now, my friend knowing the deep interest couldn't pass up the offer. Gino was a feature of my life the summer of 1965. My father, Bruce FitzGerald, had designed a rustic ranch style home for property he and my mother had purchased at 808 Romero Canyon Road. Dad hired Gino to build a massive stone fireplace for the house from sandstone rocks found on the property. My sister and I were brought to the lot to amuse ourselves and perhaps scavenge for suitable rocks while work proceeded on the house. Although I was only ten, I clearly remember how fun it was to...

So sorry to hear of Gino's passing. I worked with Gino many times as a manager at County Lumber. He was a well respected man. My condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Our paths crossed many years ago when he was dating your Mom. He bought my Dad's house for his family. My Dad said he was always a hard worker.
