A kind and patient man. All of us who are friends to John's son, Vinnie, were always welcome, despite distracting Vinnie from the long queue of lunchtime patrons. A loss to the Amato family and Hudson County, but heaven's gain.

I met John in 1974. We enjoyed many years of visiting Fiores & having food sent to Georgia and North Carolina after my family moved from NJ. In January 2023 my son, Bill and I came back to Fiores. John was in the back and waved my son,Bill, and I to the back for a quick chat and a piece of mutz. He was always a joy to speak to and will be missed by all that had the honor to know him.

My oldest friend from childhood. We served as altar boys as well as classmates together at Saint Francis. As teens we were CYO members. I am so sad and broken hearted. You will always be in my memory John.

A Hoboken legend who always greeted you with a smile. No matter how busy John was he´d always wave from the back office. Always asked how my dad Lou was doing. Thank you for your delicious mozzarella and kindness. John, You will be missed. Say hi to Vinny for me. Kathy and The Principe Family
