CONSIGLIO--Giovanni, Italian Tenor, beloved husband of Marion Gambardella-Consiglio, known for his enormous technical and artistic talents and considered a "vocal phenomenon", died on February 21, 2012 in New York City.

We were so saddened to learn of Giovanni's passing. Our memories of him as not just a great artist, but also a great human being, will be with us forever. We will never forget him. We write this with tears in our eyes. I will be reading many of the articles and reviews of his wonderful performances in New Jersey tonight as well as going through the many photos we have of him with my father. Rest in peace, Giovanni.
